Rachel Thomas
Rachel Thomas, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, has been practicing therapy since 1997. She is a Certified Emotionally Focused Therapist and Supervisor and specializes in working with couples to create healing and connection. In addition to extensive EFT training, Rachel is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) which is an integrative psychotherapy approach that has been extensively researched and proven effective for the treatment of trauma.
Rachel is an American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) Approved Supervisor and has provided supervision to many other practicing professionals as they progress forward in obtaining their license. She provides clinical supervision to the therapists at Therapy With Heart as well as outside clinicians who contract for additional EFT supervision and consultation.
Nicole Rizkallah
Nicole Rizkallah is receiving her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary. She excitedly joins Therapy With Heart as a student-intern under the supervision of Rachel Thomas, LMFT (AZMFT #10257).
Nicole has basic training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR); she is actively involved in professional associations, has held workshops at psychological conferences, and is published on working with couples where there are spiritual considerations. For the past decade, she has worked as a guidance counselor in high schools.
